This is how I have mine mounted, it works fine. The windsheild washer indicator is nice to have when my tank is running low. You should be using some sort of safety system to disable your boost controller in case there is a fault in your system. I'd be more concerned about your reservoir running dry or a clogged nozzle vs a ruptured line
